Measurement Supervisor


Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supervising measurement technicians in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of all measurement equipment according to applicable standards and regulations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position, but are neither all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary:

  • Monitor activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and reporting requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, automation, and electrical oil/gas measurement equipment
  • Continue to develop calibration schedules in accordance with company guidelines
  • Assess current operations, procedures, problems or needs and recommend improvements to increase productivity, improve performance, and reduce cost
  • Must be willing and able to conduct measurement training for lease pumpers
  • Establish work standards, prioritize, provide coaching, feedback, and conduct employee evaluations

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in managing measurement technicians and field operations.
  • Prefer 5-10 years of oil and gas experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to utilize software to test, install, repair, and calibrate telemetry.
  • Proficient with Total flow PCCU, familiar with Fisher ROC and Allen Bradley.
  • Candidate must not have 2 or more traffic tickets/moving violations within the last 5 yrs.
  • Position requires skills normally obtained through the completion of high school, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • This position requires a valid state issued driver’s license and employees must pass an initial drug and alcohol screening at hire.
